25 November: Economic Diplomacy - An Ethiopian Case Study

The Art and Science of Economic Diplomacy: building bilateral trade - A case study – Ethiopia

I would like to personally invite you to join us on Tuesday 25 November 2014 for an cocktail networking event which focusses on Economic Diplomacy as a key strategy for engagement in bilateral trade relations between Australia and Africa.

We are particularly excited to have two speakers whose knowledge and experience of economic diplomacy are an inspiration to us all. Trent Smyth (Secretary Consular Corps Melbourne and Honorary Consul for Malawi) and His Excellency Mr Arega Hailu Teffera (Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary for the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia) will guide us on this exciting journey.

Join me for this innovative Cocktail Event, meet with members of the diplomatic corps, bring your business to the table, and learn of the vibrant business opportunities with a country that is not only the headquarters for the African Union but is one of the largest economies engaged in the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa.

This link will take you to a detailed briefing note providing a wealth of information about Investment opportunities in Ethiopia.

I look forward to seeing you then. Best Wishes Di Fleming - President
